Hello everyone!

I wanted to share my Spring course catalog entries for Intro and Band in case anyone still wants to join. It’s going to be a busy Spring so hope to see you in class!

• Introduction to the Ukulele –Part 2 — Bob Carlson, 10:30-11:30 Tuesdays. 12 weeks. The aim of this class is simply to learn and play fun songs on the ukulele –pop tunes, soft rock, and folk music standards. This spring, we’ll build on the basic chords learned last fall, and add new chords so we can play a wider range of songs. Students can suggest favorites they’d like to learn. The instructor will help any student new to the ukulele and bring them up-to-speed. (Max 20)
• Spring Ukulele Band — Bob Carlson, 10:30-11:30 Wednesdays. 12 weeks. In Ukulele Band, we play what we’ve been working hard to learn – familiar songs from pop, folk, and rock. We’ll build on chords used in the fall and add new chords, try out finger picking, and practice new strumming styles. We’ll polish songs we been working on in previous weeks and add a new song from time to time. Students are welcome to suggest favorites to learn. Having fun is our mantra! (Max 20)
